September 7th, 2015

How is the RCC Helping South Asian Students?

The Indian Subcontinent remains one of the poorer regions of the world. As a result, many of its best and brightest do not have the opportuntity to fully exploit their talent in a way that can help the world. Fortunately, the RCC Institute of Technology is doing something remarkable. It is giving study opportunities to people from these countries which they otherwise would not have thats to its technology scholarships. These scholarships are aimed at outstanding students who have been accepted to study baccalaureate programs in technology at the RCC Institute of Technology, and are very generous. The requirements are simple. The students not only need to stand out from the rest, but also to display clear passion for technology, mathematical of scientific aptitudes, and a wish to develop a career in technology. The scholarships are in three tiers. They are Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The students, originating from either India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Sri Lanka, can benefit from a scholarship of either CAD 40,000, CAD 33,000, or CAD 27,000. Up to five Gold and Silver level scholarships are available, and an unlimited of Bronze scholarships are available so long as the students are qualified.

How You Can Take Part

Participation is quite simple. If you are a new student at the RCC Institute of Technology from one of the four aforementioned countries, you need to fill in the application form which can be found by following the link below, and pay a refundable deposit of CAD 300 once you have received news of your application being accepted. If you are based in Pakistan, you are in luck. This is because the RCC holds many admissions events in Pakistan. These events have been held in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Faisalabad in the past, and are likely to be held again in those cities very soon. The RCC Institute of Technology (also known as the Radio College of Canada), was founded in 1928. It is one of the oldest technology institutions in Canada, and the only fully accredited private educational institution in Ontario which give bachelor degrees. It is doing a lot for its students. At present, it is doing something quite remarkable for South Asian students, particularly those from Pakistan. One of the ways in which it helps students from the Indian subcontinent is through the technology scholarships to study in Canada.
